Plate conveyors are used in a horizontal position and operate at relatively low speeds. Two branches of the chain with plates installed between them are used as a traction organ.
Usually, plate conveyors are used to move objects that, as a rule, are not transported on rollers /belts due to the non-standard shape or condition of the lower part.
They can be used in production, assembly lines and many other areas where a flat surface is required for transportation. Hot and oily parts can be moved. The conveyor plates can be changed for mounting assembly devices.
